Heidi Weng like a butterfly on Alpe Cermis

It is the 2nd Tour de Ski won in row by the norwegian

Tour de Ski in Val di Fiemme (ITA) – Today the Final Climb

Heidi Weng incredible ahead of Ingvild Flugstad Oestberg, she is once again the queen

Third place to Jessica Diggins who prevailed over Krista Parmakoski

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee", this is what Drew Bundini Brown whispered to Muhammad Ali during the boxing matches. A thought that fits perfectly also to Norway’s "butterfly” Heidi Weng who, thanks to her lightness, managed to find herself at ease even on the most difficult track of the cross-country skiing world: Alpe Cermis in Val di Fiemme (ITA), the last stage of Tour de Ski. But Weng is also capable of sticking, deleting the limited advantage that her compatriot Ingvild Flugstad Oestberg had at the start. There were two duels on the track of the last stage of the twelfth Tour de Ski: one between Weng and Oestberg and the other between Jessica Diggins (USA) and Krista Parmakoski (FIN). As soon as the track starts to climb Weng becomes unstoppable, boasting 35 seconds on Oestberg at km 8.1, while at the finish line the total advantage reaches +48.5, ending in 32:13.3. Diggins is third and Parmakoski fourth. At 2.30 pm the men Final Climb of 9 km will follow.
