APT Fiemme Cembra coordinated 11 Dolomiti Ski Jazz concerts and 3 performances featuring music, theatre and dance from 6 to 15 March, working together with the municipalities of Val di Fiemme and the Autonomous Province of Trento. Great anticipation is building for the spectacular Paralympic Closing Ceremony at Lago di Tesero.
Val di Fiemme accompanied the spirit of global friendship celebrated by the Paralympic Games through the universal language of jazz and its natural ability to transcend cultural barriers.
The Dolomiti Ski Jazz festival of Fassa, Fiemme and Cembra offered days of entertainment set against the stunning backdrop of the UNESCO Dolomites, among snowy slopes, village streets and local theatres.
From 6 to 15 March, Val di Fiemme alone hosted 11 concerts by internationally renowned jazz artists, under the artistic direction of Enrico Tommasini.
These were joined by additional events dedicated to music, theatre and dance, involving three bands from Val di Fiemme, the Il Pentagramma Music School of Fiemme and Fassa, and the theatre ensemble of the social cooperative La Rete from Trento.
For the Paralympic Closing Ceremony, the Municipality of Tesero wanted to organise a major show capable of creating the same sense of wonder generated by the luminous drone performance staged during the Closing Ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games.
The events accompanying the Paralympic days were coordinated by APT Fiemme Cembra in collaboration with the municipalities of Val di Fiemme and the Autonomous Province of Trento.
