Major sporting events come to life thanks to the energy of the people who make them possible: the volunteers. They are the true driving force behind our World Cup events.
Every year, more than 500 volunteers, most of them residents of Val di Fiemme, support the Organising Committee and staff in delivering our events. A large and dynamic team made of women and men of all ages, with different experiences, technical skills and professional backgrounds, all united by the same passion.
During the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Val di Fiemme, around 2,500 volunteers were involved, and their extraordinary contribution was essential to the success of the event. A remarkable team effort that once again showed how volunteering is truly the beating heart of sporting events in the region.
Each area is coordinated by a team leader, the key figure responsible for organising and leading their team of volunteers, ensuring collaboration, efficiency and team spirit.
Being a volunteer means dedicating time, enthusiasm and energy to the success of events that represent an extraordinary international showcase for Val di Fiemme. Through their commitment, volunteers contribute not only to the organisation of the event, but also to sharing the true values of sport: passion, teamwork, hospitality and community spirit.
