There are still several weeks to go, but the appointment with the FIS Nordic Summer Festival in Val di Fiemme is preparing to make history. From September 18 to 21, the cradle of Nordic skiing will host ski jumping, Nordic combined, and roller-skiing specialists in an event with strong international tones, marking yet another important step towards the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The competitions staged in Val di Fiemme will be valid as summer World Cup stages. In particular, as far as ski jumping is concerned, it will be the 4th stage out of 6 in total of the 2025 Grand Prix with Courchevel (France, August 9-10), Wisla (Poland, August 16-17) and Rasnov (Romania, September 13-14) to anticipate the appointment on the renovated hills of the Ski Jumping Stadium in Predazzo. For the Nordic combined, the much-desired crystal sphere will be awarded at the end of the 2025 Summer Grand Prix in what will be the 3rd and final stage of the season after the appointments in Oberstdorf (Germany, August 27) and Chaux-Neuve (France, August 30-31). Even for roller-skiing there will be sparkling trophies to be distributed to the best with the World Cup finals that will enliven Val di Fiemme at the end of the touring events in the top international circuit following the stages in Madona (Latvia, July 17-20), Trollhättan (Sweden, August 29-31) and Rome (Italy, September 16-17).

The FIS Nordic Summer Festival will be one of the most coveted and prestigious appointments of the summer for the best practitioners of the Nordic disciplines, who between Predazzo (Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined) and Ziano di Fiemme (Roller-skiing and Nordic Combined), will compete in the most popular formats of the respective specialities, against colleagues from Italy and around the world. From the Individual and Super Team for Ski Jumping to the Gundersen and Mixed Team of Nordic Combined, passing through Sprint, Team Sprint Mix and Mass Start for roller-skiing, adrenaline and a great sporting spectacle will not be missing in Val di Fiemme.

In Val di Fiemme, the preparations for the FIS Nordic Summer Festival continue at full speed, and the organising committee Nordic Ski Val di Fiemme is hard at work to take a new step forward in the long journey towards the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. Alongside the hard-working volunteers from Fiemme, the committee will also welcome journalists and sports communication technicians related to winter sports at the Forum Nordicum, which will take place from September 16 to 19 in Val di Fiemme.
