VAL DI FIEMME AND #ROADTO2026 THE FIS NORDIC SUMMER FESTIVAL IS HERE
From September 18 to 21, four days of great sport in Val di Fiemme Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined and Roller-skiing compete at the FIS Nordic Summer Festival The event debuts at the Ski Jumping Stadium of Predazzo also involving Ziano di Fiemme The journey towards the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games continues

There has never been a summer sports festival capable of bringing together contestants from three different disciplines in a concentration of action, dynamism and sporting passion at the highest level. However, over the years, Val di Fiemme has learned how to amaze, and so, from September 18 to 21, the valley in Trentino will host four days of Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined and Roller-skiing. The competitions of Val di Fiemme will be valid as summer World Cup stages and assign precious points in the overall rankings of the maximum circuits in addition to the sparkling crystal globes of Roller-skiing (WC 2025) and Nordic Combined (Summer Grand Prix 2025). Not only that, these days of sport will also be crucial in view of the ever-closer Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The Fiemme FIS Nordic Summer Festival adventure will kick off on Thursday, September 18, with the Ski Jumping races on the HS 109 hill of the Ski Jumping Stadium of Predazzo, with the renovated facilities being officially inaugurated by the women's and men’s Individual race. From Friday 19, the competition stage will no longer be just one, but there will be two: on one side, Predazzo will host the appointments with ski jumpers and Nordic Combined skiers, and on the other side, Ziano di Fiemme will be animated by the enthusiasm of roller-skiers and Nordic Combined skiers engaged in the second part of the competition. More precisely, on Friday, September 19, the Nordic Combined skiers will spring into action in the women’s Gundersen with a Ski Jumping race on the HS 109 and a 5 km roller-skiing one, with the latter being alternated with qualifying and final stages of the Sprint in which the roller-skiing specialists will compete. On Saturday, September 20, and Sunday 21, all three disciplines of Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined and Roller-skiing will each propose different races and formats. The Individual on the Large Hill (HS 143) for Ski Jumping, Mixed Team (HS109 + Roller-skiing) for Nordic combined, and Team Sprint Mix for Roller-skiing will define both the women's and men's events on Saturday. Sunday's grand finale will instead see ski jumpers busy in the Super Team on the HS 143, the Nordic Combined skiers in the Gundersen on the HS143 with 10 km of Roller-skiing and roller-skiers in the 10/15 km Mass Start.

The FIS Nordic Summer Festival will be yet another step forward for Val di Fiemme along the #roadto2026 path that will lead the valley to the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in a few months' time. For the experienced organising committee Nordic Ski Val di Fiemme, designated as EDE (Event Delivery Entity) in the technical jargon of Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, it will be an opportunity to try the tried and tested mechanism that over the years have allowed Val di Fiemme to gain the title of “cradle of Nordic skiing”. The team led by President Pietro De Godenz is already working to prepare not only the races, but also the rich programme of side events that will be proposed during the FIS Nordic Summer Festival, in which the large number of volunteers from Val di Fiemme will once again play an essential role.

Shortly before the FIS Nordic Summer Festival, Val di Fiemme will have the pleasure of hosting the Forum Nordicum, an exclusive annual meeting of journalists, insiders and communication experts in the field of international Nordic skiing, which will take place from September 16 to 19. Technicians from Central Europe and beyond will discuss topics related to the world of Nordic and Alpine skiing, as well as having the opportunity to watch the FIS Nordic Summer Festival races and discover first-hand the renovated Ski Jumping Stadium in Predazzo and the Cross-Country Stadium in Lago di Tesero in the welcoming atmosphere of the Trentino’s valley.
