The long and intense journey that will lead Val di Fiemme toward the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games is about to experience one of its most significant moments with the FIS Nordic Summer Festival, an international event that will involve the Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined and Roller-skiing disciplines and will take place from September 18 to 21. Hosting crucial stages of the FIS Summer Grand Prix and Summer World Cup will be ideal to offer an unparalleled sporting show that will be followed on TV and in the stands, as well as for testing the well-oiled organisational machine of the Nordic Ski Val di Fiemme committee and its tireless volunteers.

The summer season for Nordic sports is already in full swing, and in Val di Fiemme is set to experience some outstanding days: the renovated Ski Jumping stadium of Predazzo and the streets of Ziano di Fiemme will provide the backdrop for the best athletes in the discipline, who will compete in dynamic formats and exciting competitions. There will be a lot of interest in the jumpers who have already competed in two of the six stages scheduled for the FIS Summer Grand Prix 2025 so far this season. The August competitions on the French hills in Courchevel and the Polish ones in Wisla inaugurated the summer tour, which will see the elite of the discipline test the HS143 and HS109 hills at the Stalimen facility in Predazzo, and for now, world champion Nika Prevc (SLO) and the talented Niklas Bachlinger (AUT) are leading the FIS Summer Grand Prix rankings.

Individual competitions and Super Team for Ski Jumping, Gundersen and Mixed Team for Nordic Combined and Sprint, Mixed Team Sprint and Mass Start for Roller-skiing will fill the competitive events programme of the FIS Nordic Summer Festival, which will have a strong international connotation with the presence of the best of the Nordic specialities coming from the most diverse nations in the world.
