The last stage of Tour de Ski will take place in Val di Fiemme (ITA) from 3rd to 5th January. The rich program offers events for all cross-country skiers, from the champions to the amateurs, including events for fans who simply want to experience the thrill of the races on the slope while enjoying the menus of ‘Tour del Gusto’. The first stage of the 14th Tour de Ski is right around the corner (28th December in Lenzerheide). Val di Fiemme will host the grand finale of Tour de Ski for the 14th time and this year will celebrate the 100th race of Tour de Ski on Friday 3rd January. On Saturday 4th January there will be a sprint with many champions including Italy’s Federico Pellegrino, while the final climb on Alpe Cermis will take place on Sunday 5th January. This year, the final climb will be in a mass start format for the first time. This is the program for the champions, but everyone will have the chance to compete on the courses at the Cross-Country Stadium in Lago di Tesero and on the Olympia III slope on Alpe Cermis, including children, who will take part in the COOP Mini World Cup. The Junior Final Climb will see many young athletes compete on the final climb of Tour de Ski, dreaming of taking part in the élite competition one day. The ‘Rampa con i Campioni’, an event that has the same importance as the legendary final climb for amateurs, celebrates its tenth edition. The COOP Mini World Cup will take place on Friday 3rd January at 11 a.m. at the Cross-Country Stadium in Lago di Tesero: a gymkhana with interval start for all children born from 2008 to 2014. The entry fee is 5 euros, a symbolic sum, and the aim is to make all children feel 'big' for one day. The third edition of the Junior Final Climb mass start will take place on Sunday, always at 11 a.m. – the race will start at the Cross-Country Stadium. The following categories may take part in this race: Ragazzi 2006-07, Allievi 2004-05, Aspiranti 2002-03, Junior 2000-01. In this case, the entry fee is 10 euros and the race is only open to FISI members. The amateurs of the ‘Rampa con i Campioni’ (entry fee: 25 euros) will instead start at 10 am. "At Tour de Ski... more cross-country skiing for all, with three races for all ages. Register now, fun is guaranteed!", the invitation of the Fiemme Ski World Cup committee.
