Ski Jumping returns to Val di Fiemme for an awesome weekend

After the last stage of Tour de Ski, the Fiemme Ski World Cup committee and the volunteers will now move to Predazzo for the FIS Nordic Combined and Ski Jumping World Cup races. The rich program foresees many races – which will start on Thursday – including the usual side events. On Thursday evening at 7 p.m. there will be the PCR and qualification round of Nordic Combined. On the following day there will be the first of the two Individual Gundersen scheduled between the Ski Jump Arena of Predazzo – at 10 a.m. on the HS135 ski jumping hill – and the Cross-Country Stadium in Lago di Tesero – at 1.30 p.m. with the 10 km cross-country skiing. The Ski Jumping qualification round is scheduled for Friday evening at 6 p.m. On Saturday 12th January, at 9 a.m., a breakfast will be offered to all those present during the event "Jump in the Breakfast", the right warm-up in view of the Nordic combined team competition: Team Sprint HS135 starting at 10 a.m. in the Ski Jump Arena of Predazzo, followed by 2 x 7.5 km at 2.15 p.m at the Cross-Country Stadium in Lago di Tesero. The first competition round HS135 of the World Cup Ski Jumping race is scheduled at 4 p.m. and will be followed by the second competition round and by the flower ceremony that will celebrate the winners of each race. On Saturday evening there will be a little break with the “Winterfest” at the party tent at the Cross-Country Stadium in Lago di Tesero: the sports atmosphere will be relaxed by "combining" folklore and fun between dances and typical dishes with the music of the Dolomiten Bier Band. The last day will be once again opened by the event "Jump in the Breakfast" at 9 a.m., before the second Individual Gundersen at 10 a.m. (ski jumping) and at 2.30 p.m. (cross-country skiing). The last Ski Jumping race will then conclude the whole weekend at 5 p.m. and will be animated by the Crowd Supporters Show with Mikee and Dj Ucho, who return to the "cradle of Nordic skiing" after the World Cup 2013. The Polish team will ensure fun returning to Val di Fiemme after six years; the duo was also present at the pre-world championships in 2012, at the Olympics in Sochi 2014, at the World Championships in Lahti 2017 and at the Four Hills tournament in Garmisch; they have been the entertainers in Zakopane (Poland) since 2003. As far as tickets are concerned, the Nordic Combined races will be free of charge, while for the Ski Jumping races spectators will have to pay the entry: the QR on Friday is free, full ticket 10 euros, reduced ticket 5 euros for FISI members and residents of Trentino Alto Adige, free entry for children under 8 (born until 2011), residents of Val di Fiemme, disabled. The ticket office at the Ski Jump Arena in Predazzo will be open during the event: Friday 11th January from 3 pm to 7 pm, Saturday 12th January from 2 pm to 6 pm and Sunday 13th January from 3 pm to 6 pm.
